  • Game Play
    • The goal of the game is to eliminate your opponent before they eliminate you
    • A player is eliminated when they have no remaining lives
    • A life is lost when a player comes into contact with anything (with the exception of your teammate in a “two on two” game)
    • Players move left and right using the joystick to dodge incoming debris and attacks from your opponent
    • Press the Fire button to fire a bullet at your opponent.
      • Bullets explode on impact of any object.
      • A player can only have 3 bullets on the screen at one time (except when Double Barrel, Blaster, or Spread shot is engaged, see below for full power up definitions)
    • Press Power Up to use the power up you selected in Pregame
      • A player has 3 Power Up uses per life
      • If a player loses a life, the player also loses any unused power ups for that life
    • Shoot the Mystery Box that spawns at random intervals during the game. The Mystery Box can contain 1 of the follow special power ups:
      • Laser - A laser beam will fire from the ship's cannon that last for 3 seconds. The player can move the laser from left to right by moving their ship. The only things a laser cannot go through are the power ups Reflect Shield and Force Field.
      • Missile - This fires a homing missile at an opponent. The missile can be destroyed by hitting it with 3 bullets from any player.
      • Fleet - 2 companion ships will join your fight against the other team and will fire bullets in sync with your Fire button. These companion ships DO NOT have power up abilities. Companion ships that die do not count against your life count. You companion ships will die if you lose a life at any time.
      • 1up - You are awarded a free life
      • Reload - If your power up count is less than 3, your power ups will be reloaded back up to 3. If you are already at 3 power ups, then no reward is given
    • If games go on for an extended period of time, debris will respawn on the map at random intervals.
    • The game ends when all lives have been lost by a team.

  • Power Ups
    • Reflect Shield - Gives the pilot a protective shield that last 3 seconds. The pilot is guaranteed to not die for 3 seconds. The shield will also reflect any projectiles back at the enemy (this includes Shooting Star and the Black Hole bullet.
    • Acceleration - Gives the pilot a burst of speed for 6 seconds
    • Blaster - Gives the pilot an empowered attack which allows them to fire at twice the normal rate for 6 seconds
    • Double Barrel - Gives the pilot an upgraded blaster for 6 seconds which shoots 2 bullets at the same time.
    • Spread Shot - Gives the pilot an upgraded blaster for 3 seconds which now shoots an additional bullet on each side of the ship at an angle creating a cone shaped spread shot.
    • Black Hole - Gives the pilot an additional missile that can be shot towards the enemy. This missile will explode if it comes into contact with anything and creates a black hole that sucks in everything within its event horizon. This includes bullets, debris, planets, and pilots that don't get out of the way. This missile can also be remotely detonated by the pilot that fired it by hitting the power up button again.
    • Force Field - Sends out a horizontal force field in front of the pilot that can block any incoming attacks from the enemy. This shield can block for both the pilot that used it and his teammate. This shield does not block shock wave.
    • Shockwave - Sends out a purple wave that takes 3 seconds to cross the field and then stuns the enemy in place for 3 second.
    • Shooting Star - Sends out a specialized missile that can take your enemies life or can push debris into your enemies at high speeds.
    • Envision - This is the random power up. It will randomly pick you a new power up every time you use the power up button, this means that you could have 3 different power ups in the same life. You will never know which power up will be selected next.

  • Tips
    • Good starter power ups include Reflect shield, Spread shot, Shockwave and Blaster.
    • Play to the advantage of your power up. If it is an offensive power up play aggressive. If it is a defensive power up, then play smart and out last your opponent until you have the perfect time to strike.
    • Pick power ups as a team when playing 2v2 and develop a strategy to defeat your opponents. Combining power ups can end the game very fast and get you a clean win when you play off each other actions.
    • Use the environment the best you can, hiding behind asteroids before you get hit by a shock wave can save your life.
    • Don’t forget about turrets, shoot the turrets to turn them to fire at your opponent. They can win or lose you the game
    • Black Hole is powerful, but difficult to master. You can kill yourself if you don’t know what you are doing.
    • Don’t forget to have fun! It is a game after all!
